Burmese Teak

Installation

Conventional installation

Timber battening - strips of chosen wood are laid out in a linear series, with a small space between them.
Glue down method- This method is preferred when one expects the flooring to last for a long period of time. One needs to make sure that the subfloor is completely level before installation begins. A strong adhesive, specifically made for wood flooring is applied to the subfloor in small, workable sections, to ensure the glue does not dry prematurely. The end result is very sturdy and stable, as it is attached to the subfloor.

The Clip System installation

This method of installation is free of glues and adhesives. It saves time and cost, especially if one is looking to replace only random pieces and not the whole floor. Clips are placed on the floor, and fit comfortably in a channel on the back of the pre-finished wooden floor pieces, easily hooking into place.
